A UserFriendly paper clip

I read JD Frazer's UserFriendly comic every day. This strip is an excellent example of how he manages to combine humour and breaking technical news. I love the idea that Microsoft's engineers can't find a way to kill off the paper clip. Of course, the paper clip seems to represent the unstated wishes of Microsoft's management: the subconscious desires that make themselves manifest in the software they produce.
Then again, this could just be a funny cartoon.
