Back to Sunderland - North, this time. Safe Labour seat. Labour win it again with a majority of about 10,000 on a turnout of 50%. Last election = 13,000.

BBC seems to think that this is a poor result for Labour. It was a safe seat, a low turnout: Labour voters didn't need to vote!
