Mobile yoga

Wednesday, April 27, 2005

Have you noticed that, since the widespread adoption of mobile phones, people have adopted new poses while standing?

Don't believe me? Next time you're out and about - especially at the train station - have a look around. Women, especially, are prone to a strange contortion of legs, hips, and neck while on the phone. You can spot someone talking on their mobile from behind and before you see the phone or hear them speaking. Never mind irradiated brain stems: we're going to breed a generation of contortionists.
